wanna know how to Share a Show with the ohmies ????
Submit a Show to OHM Radio 96.3 FM
Thanks for your interest in submitting a demo.
OHM is a listener-supported, non-commercial community radio station dedicated to locally produced programming that reflects Charleston’s diverse voices and perspectives. Before you submit, please review our Mission, Vision, and Values to make sure your show is aligned.
Important: We strongly prefer locally produced, pre-recorded shows that hosts record on their own and submit as MP3 files via Dropbox. * Limited in-studio production is available
Is OHM a Good Fit?
We’re a good fit if:
Your show is locally produced
You’re open to feedback and collaboration
You are excited about sharing something you love with your community
You can present information responsibly and FCC-compliantly
You’re aligned with OHM’s mission, values, and style
We may not be a good fit if:
The show is promotional or commercial
The goal is venting, endorsing, or persuading listeners how to think
You’re unwilling to follow FCC and station guidelines
Preferred Show Formats
We can accommodate shows most easily in this order:
Pre-recorded MP3 shows submitted via Dropbox
30-minute programs
Monthly or twice-monthly schedules
Live, weekly, and/or 1-hour shows may be possible, but availability depends on current capacity.
Demo Requirements
Please submit a complete demo that matches the show length you want:
Hour show: submit a 58-minute demo
30-minute show: submit a 28-minute demo

An intro and outro (add some music for extra rizz points )
A station ID spoken clearly (exact wording below)
Clean audio (minimal background noise)

“You’re listening to WOHM Charleston, 96.3 Ohm Radio.”
(Nothing can be said between “WOHM” and “Charleston.”)
*This is FCC-required every 30 minutes. For an n-hour show, announce it at least twice: at the start and mid-show. Bonus if you also say it at the close.

NEW PROGRAM REVIEW
Programming Review Process
At Ohm Radio, we’re proud to be a community-powered station that amplifies a wide range of voices, sounds, and ideas. To make sure each show is a great fit for our listeners—and for our current broadcast schedule—all show submissions are reviewed by our Programming Committee.
During this review, we consider a number of factors, including (but not limited to):
Whether the content is appropriate for radio broadcast
Our current programming needs and available time slots
Format and production style (live in-studio, pre-recorded, or submitted episodes)
Technical quality and overall readiness for air
Your demo or sample episode will be carefully listened to as part of this process. Because our schedule is curated with intention—and shifts as new shows launch and others sunset—not all submissions can be placed immediately, even when the content is strong.
What Happens NEXT…
Your demo will be reviewed
You’ll receive onboarding instructions
You’ll sign the Programmer Agreement
